Art Pantry SRQ offers private individual and small group art lessons and creative projects. All classes are taught by me, Corinne Fallacaro. After studying and receiving my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in NYC, I worked as an internationally published illustrator, graphic designer, and art director. In addition I was, and continue to be, an award-winning professional fine artist. In 2005, I moved down to sunny Sarasota with four kids in tow and pursued my passion for teaching. I am certified in elementary education and art K-12. Sarasota schools included Southside Elementary (where I taught kindergarten and first grade), Bay Haven Elementary (art), and Imagine Palmer Ranch (art). I have three amazing grandchildren who continually inspire me.

Here at the art pantry srq, we believe in fostering a child’s artistic ability and individuality.
I believe strongly that art is essential to a child’s personal development. Children possess the ability to understand art concepts and to express themselves in their most messy creative forms. My lessons develop critical thinking skills, creative confidence, hands-on-skills, visual literacy, and self esteem. It gives me great joy to watch a young mind explode with joy and passion and witness their self esteem blossoming.
